On November 4, residents of Columbus will have an opportunity to support a package of bond issues designed to improve and create jobs and strengthen neighborhoods. Capital improvements for core city services, such as police and fire, refuse collection, health, recreation, water and sewer, will all be on the November ballot.

The six issues were carefully designed with the collaboration of citizens and are designed to address key priorities, such as neighborhood facilities, pedestrian safety, job creation and green space. Mayor Michael B. Coleman, City Council and City Auditor Hugh Dorrian along with other city staff attended community meetings and incorporated suggestions into $1.66 billion worth of capital projects. The final package was approved by Columbus City Council in July.
